The Afrikana music group organizes performances for educational institutions, cultural and general events, on the topic: Life in Africa.

Our program includes:

  • screening of a short film about a selected african country:
    • Côte d'Ivoire (topic for 2022/2024),
    • a brief look at nature, tourism, history and culture of the landscape,
  • lecture on the african continent:
    • lectures by lecturers,
    • space for questions from participants,
    • involvement of participants in the game of iriko djembé,
  • sample of african music:
    • singing African songs,
    • involving participants in an African dance lesson.

Getting to know the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire

For primary, secondary and tertiary schools
  • Screening of films about Africa,
  • word,
  • questions and answers,
  • demonstrations of drumming and dancing.

Program for kindergartens

  • Screening of a film about Africa with Kirikou in the wilderness

  • and then drumming together and African dance.

 

A film tells about Africa, drumming and dancing with African drummers.

Events for summer and winter camps

  • Talk about Africa,
  • singing, drumming and entertainment together.
